Occurrence Status of COVID-19 in Nagasaki Prefecture⑱

     

The present information on the outbreak of the new corona virus infectious disease in Nagasaki Prefecture as of Saturday, 4th of July 2020.

 

Nagasaki Prefecture announced as follows.

It was confirmed on the 3rd of July that the 18th New Corrona Virus infected person in Nagasaki was   found.

 

1.The information on the said infected person.

  ①age:20s・Sex;Male 

 

  ②Occupation:Student (Nagasaki University)

    

  ➂Recidence: Nagasaki city

   

  ④Nationality:Japan

 

  ⑤Whereabouts of the Person : Under invesigation

 

  ⑥Present symptom:Feverish. Hospitalised in Nagasaki Sity.

Countermeasures to prevent the spread of Novel Corona Virus infection

     

As countermeasures to prevent the spread of Novel Corona Virus infection,

inspection systems and admission capacity of hospital beds were improved as shown below.

3 facilities, 163 rooms

  1 facility each in Nagasaki, Sasebo & Northern part of Nagasaki Prefecture and Iki.

Request from the Nagasaki Prefectural Government

     

This is a request from the Nagasaki Prefectural Government to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease once again.
 
● Please practice the followings as a new lifestyle to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease.
 - Wear a mask if you must go outside. When you come home, disinfect your hands and fingers carefully.
-Avoid close contact with other people and talking with them face to face.
-For shopping, make use of shopping online and use a payment method that does not use cash such as credit cards or electronic money.
-For eating, buy takeout food and eat at home or use delivery service. Sit side by side when you eat.

● People who live in Nagasaki Prefecture can go or travel out of Nagasaki Prefecture from June 1st.

● Please think carefully when you travel to Hokkaido, Tokyo, Saitama Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture or Kanagawa Prefecture, where the declaration of emergency has just been lifted and there are still quite a few coronavirus infections.

● Please be careful when you go to the areas with new infections increasing again such as Fukuoka Prefecture.

Notice from National government offices

     

National government offices regarding water and wastewater utilities, MHLW, MLIT, MAFF, and MOE have requested local utilities to provide those who face difficulty in paying their bills due to the economic impact of COVID-19 temporarily with grace period or other generosities.

Request from Nagasaki Prefectural Government

     

Period of the nationwide state of emergency to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 disease has been terminated.

 

However, considering COVID-19 disease may propagate again, Nagasaki Prefecture Government would like to make a following request to everybody.

 

Everybody is asked to act as follows in Nagasaki Prefecture.

 

● All the residents of Nagasaki Prefecture are requested to refrain from travelling across prefectural borders. 

All the people who live outside of Nagasaki Prefecture are requested to refrain from visiting remote islands in Nagasaki Prefecture.

 

● Everybody is requested to practice the followings as new lifestyles. 

 

- Wear a mask if you must go outside, often disinfect your hands and fingers by washing with soap and water or applying an antiseptic solution

-Avoid close contact and/or talking face to face

-For shopping, make use of online purchase and electronic payment as much as possible

-For eating, buy takeout food and eat at home, use delivery service, sit side by side when you eat etc.

 

● Nagasaki Prefectural Facilities will be reopened after May 18, step by step, taking measures to prevent COVID-19 disease and avoiding “closed (poor ventilation)”, “crowded” and “close-contact” settings.

 

● If many occurrences of COVID-19 disease are observed, required measures will be taken once again.
