公益財団法人財長崎県国際交流協会 Nagasaki International Association
We are a foundation established in November 1990 with the support of Nagasaki Prefectural Government, municipal offices and private organisations. We were approved by the Minister for Home Affairs at the time as a “local international association.”
From 1st April 2012, following reform of the public-service corporation system, we received Public Interest Corporation Authorisation from the governor of Nagasaki, and became a public interest incorporated foundation.

Recruiting Supporting Members
We are looking for supporting members who can help us and our activities.

Individual Membership One year 3,000 yen
Organisation Membership(Organisations・Corporations・Institutes, etc) One year 10,000 yen

Information provision via our “NAPIA” newsletter (e.g. international events, introducing people taking part in international exchange, etc)
Discounts on participation fees for NIA-hosted courses and events, etc.

Recruiting Volunteers
We’re looking for volunteers who can help as with our work at the NIA. If you’re interested, please feel free to get in contact with us.
Interpreting Volunteers
Sight-seeing guidance for non-Japanese people visiting Nagasaki; accompanying and interpreting for non-Japanese residents who do not feel confident with the Japanese language (excluding legal procedures and matters related to money), etc.
 
Duty Support Volunteers
Corresponding with visitors at reception, sorting of materials, etc.
Volunteer times: weekdays from 10:00-13:00 or 13:00-16:00, excluding public holidays, every week on designated days.
 
Event Volunteers
We need volunteer staff on an ad-hoc basis for our international exchange events. We recruit these volunteers through our newsletter and on the website when we have an event coming up.
